Lowe’s India is the retail technology center for Lowe’s Companies Inc. and is based out of Bengaluru, India. Set up in 2014, Lowe’s India focuses on technology and shared business services. Technology teams support e-commerce, mobile, infrastructure and corporate systems that enable various functions such as supply chain, distribution, corporate services. Initiated with just over 20 associates, Lowe’s India now has a growing associate base which employs over 3000 people.

About the Team:

The Digital Commerce team at Lowe’s India is an extension to the core Digital Commerce function at Lowes’ Headquarters in Mooresville. The team in India focuses on multiple areas such as Digital Category Experience, Digital Commerce Support, Brand Advocates, Marketplace support, Dropship modernization, Customer Engagement, Category performance analytics, Site Operations, SEO and Omnichannel Product Content. This team partners closely with the team in the US to optimize and grow Lowe’s Digital Commerce business.

The Enterprise SEO Team ensures that Lowe’s digital experiences are optimized for discoverability, relevance, and performance across all search channels. The team delivers consistent, data-driven optimization of site content, technical elements, and metadata while conducting ongoing competitive analysis.

Partnering closely with Business, Product, Content, Site Operations, and Technology teams, SEO team ensures that digital assets remain accurate, search-friendly, and aligned with customer intent, ultimately strengthening visibility and organic growth across Lowes.com.

Job Summary:

The Analyst – SEO Excellence supports the SEO Excellence team in driving consistent SEO best practices across the organization. This role focuses on helping improve how SEO, AEO, and emerging GEO initiatives are documented, measured, and scaled through reporting, audits, experimentation support, and cross-functional coordination.

This role will report to the Senior Manager, SEO Excellence, and will work closely with SEO, Product, Technology, Content, UX, and Analytics partners to help translate SEO standards into actionable guidance, support experimentation efforts, and identify opportunities to improve organic performance. This role is ideal for someone with a strong SEO foundation, analytical mindset, and interest in helping scale best practices across a complex digital environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Core Responsibilities:

• Support the execution of SEO best practices by helping maintain documentation, playbooks, templates, and process guides.

• Work with cross-functional teams to help ensure SEO recommendations are reflected in briefs, workflows, and execution processes.

• Support the team in areas related to AEO and GEO, including structured data, content formatting, and search experience optimization.

• Conduct audits and analyses to identify gaps in implementation, compliance, and performance.

• Assist with SEO testing and experimentation by helping track hypotheses, document test details, validate setup, and summarize results.

• Partner with analytics and SEO team members to turn findings into practical recommendations.

• Help create educational materials and support training or enablement sessions for internal teams.

• Stay current on search trends, platform changes, and new SEO developments, and share relevant learnings with the team.

Years of Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, content optimization, web analytics, or a related field.

• Experience in e-commerce, large websites, or digital product environments is a plus.

Education Qualification & Certifications (optional)

Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Analytics.

 Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in SEO, web analytics, experimentation, or digital marketing tools/platforms.

• Exposure to analytics, tag management, or SEO platforms commonly used in large organizations.

Skill Set Required:

• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals, including on-page SEO, technical SEO basics, content optimization, internal linking, and site structure.

• Familiarity with analytics and SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with spreadsheets, reports, and documentation.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple assignments.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint.

Secondary Skills (desired):

• Familiarity with experimentation methodologies or testing platforms.

• Familiarity with building confluence pages.
