Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Workday Administrator with deep hands-on expertise in Workday Financials to join our team. This role will be responsible for the day-to-day configuration, administration, and optimization of our Workday Financials modules, as well as supporting ongoing enhancements, integrations, and reporting needs. The ideal candidate has direct experience with Workday Financials implementation(s), understands key financial processes, and can act as a bridge between Finance and IT.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Administration & Support:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday Financials, including modules such as Financial Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Procurement, Projects, and Assets.
  • Maintain system configurations, business processes, security roles, integrations, and reporting objects.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure data integrity, compliance, and timely issue resolution.
• Implementation & Optimization:
  • Lead or participate in Workday Financials implementations, module rollouts, and post-go-live support.
  • Partner with finance stakeholders to translate business needs into system requirements and enhancements.
  • Support testing and change management efforts for system upgrades, patches, and new features.
• Collaboration & Communication:
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, IT, Procurement, and external vendors/consultants.
  • Provide training and documentation for end-users and support teams.
  • Assist in audit and compliance processes by ensuring accurate financial system configurations and controls.
• Reporting & Insights:
  • Design and maintain dashboards, custom reports, and financial analytics tools within Workday.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes by ensuring data accuracy and availability.

Required Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Workday experience, including at least 2 years focused on Workday Financials (implementation and/or administration).
• Proven hands-on experience configuring and supporting key financial modules in Workday.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial operations (e.g., GL, AP, AR, FP&A).
• Experience with EIBs, calculated fields, condition rules, security, and reporting in Workday.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with Finance teams and understand end-to-end business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Workday Financials certification(s) strongly preferred.
• Experience with large-scale Workday implementations or migrations from legacy ERP systems.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance, audit processes, and financial control environments.
• Prior experience in a multi-entity or global organization.
