Responsibilities
- Real-Time Operations Management & Staff Supervision
- Supervise and lead daily operations of the Control Tower staff to ensure seamless execution.
- Monitor and update real-time status of origins, destinations, and cargo in transit.
- Guide operators in executing immediate corrective actions during transit delays or disruptions. - Client Service & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure prompt response to and execution of all ad-hoc and standard client requests.
- Translate client requirements into actionable operational processes and workflows.
- Maintain continuous communication with site personnel to adjust delivery schedules based on destination constraints.
- Follow up consistently on critical delivery metrics to maximize client satisfaction. - Data Analysis & KPI Reporting
- Compile, analyze, and submit daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports to management and clients.
- Track key metrics, including On-Time Delivery (OTD), Lead Time compliance, and carrier performance.
- Identify operational bottlenecks through data trends and implement preventive measures. - Carrier Management & Continuous Improvement (CI)
- Collaborate and communicate with contracted carriers to align operational goals.
- Lead regular review meetings with logistics partners to share feedback and drive operational excellence.
- Develop mutual improvement plans with carriers to optimize transportation efficiency and safety.

Communication & Soft Skills
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills to effectively communicate with clients, site managers, and contracted carriers.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities to address transportation bottlenecks, delays, and field incidents.
- Proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement (CI) and operational optimization. -
Operational Availability & Flexibility
- Flexibility and willingness to be on-call 24/7 to handle critical operational escalations, emergency responses, and urgent client requests.
- Ability to remain composed and make quick, logical decisions during high-stress situations, including late-night or weekend operational crises. -
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including Dry Van operations, shuttle management, and carrier routing.
- Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to compile, analyze, and present daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports (e.g., OTD, Lead Time).
- Advanced proficiency in logistics IT systems, such as TMS (Transportation Management Systems), WMS, and GPS tracking platforms. - English and Korean bilingual is required
Pay
The base salary range for this role is between $75,000-$95,000 yearly, and your base salary will depend on your experiences, qualifications, and skills.
