Role Overview
Our client is supporting the development of advanced AI systems for real-world legal workflows, with a particular focus on contract review, negotiation, and risk analysis.
We are looking for experienced in-house legal professionals with technology transactions expertise to review and develop contract redlining exercises, evaluate AI-generated legal outputs, and help establish rigorous evaluation criteria. The role is particularly relevant for lawyers experienced in negotiating MSAs, NDAs, DPAs, and other technology-related commercial agreements.
CONTRACT: Part-time/hourly contractor assignment
LOCATIONS: Remote, GLOBAL
HOURLY RATE: $90-$150/h
NOTES: At least 3 years of in-house experience focused on technology transactions is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform simulated contract negotiation and redlining exercises.
- Review AI-generated responses to commercial contract scenarios.
- Evaluate contract edits for legal accuracy, risk identification, and practical commercial judgment.
- Provide clear expert feedback to improve the precision and consistency of AI outputs.
- Develop objective evaluation frameworks, rubrics, and grading criteria for contract-review tasks.
- Review and refine legal data, instructions, and best practices used in contract evaluation.
- Apply practical in-house judgment to technology transaction scenarios.
- Collaborate with product and research teams on contract-review workflows and evaluation standards.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of in-house legal experience focused on technology transactions.
- Strong hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and redlining MSAs, NDAs, and DPAs.
- Experience identifying and assessing contractual, commercial, and legal risks.
- Strong practical knowledge of technology-related commercial agreements.
- Proven ability to review complex contract language and recommend appropriate revisions.
- Strong written English and legal drafting skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in technology or similar fast-paced environments.
- Ability to translate legal judgment into clear, structured evaluation criteria.
