Sobre este puesto de Studio & Community Experience Manager en Today
Overview
We’re hiring a Studio & Community Experience Manager to look after how it feels to work at and visit Today. It's a broad role that covers our studio operations, our team experience, our people processes and our storytelling. You’ll keep our spaces running well, host our team and clients, and hold the rituals and details that make the studio a good place to be.
About the opportunity
At Today, how the studio feels is part of the work. The spaces we work in and the rhythms we keep shape what we make here, and this role owns that experience end-to-end.
It’s a broad role. In one week you might reset the studio on a Monday, set up a client workshop, onboard a new starter and help get a piece of social content out the door. You’ll work as a trusted member of our Support Services group, closely alongside our Storytelling and People teams.
It suits someone who is good with people and takes real care with the small things.
What you’ll do
- Run our studio spaces day to day so they’re clean, safe, well-stocked and ready for the week
- Own the budget, suppliers, procurement and assets, applying our ethical and environmental standards, and keep improving how the studio works
- Host our team and clients, whether that’s greeting guests or setting up a room for a workshop
- Steward our rituals and run regular team moments and events
- Work with our Head of Storytelling to take social and digital content from brief to published, manage our online community, and support content creation for our newsletter
- Lend copywriting and visual support to case studies and proposals
- Own onboarding and offboarding so new starters feel expected and set up to do good work
- Coordinate hiring logistics, and partner with our People team on HR admin, compliance and people data
Requirements
You
- Have run a creative studio, office or shared workplace, and owned how it looks, feels and functions
- Have planned and delivered team and client-facing events
- Are confident managing budgets, suppliers and procurement
- Bring strong content skills across social and digital, ideally with some copywriting and visual ability (Figma)
- Are warm and approachable, and care how the team and our guests feel
- Stay ahead of what’s needed, and keep a lot of moving parts in order
- Care about inclusion, ethical procurement and doing things the right way
- Bonus: experience in People or HR administration, operations or community coordination
The details
- This is a permanent, full-time role
- We’d love someone who can start in the coming weeks
- This role requires 5 days a week onsite in our Naarm (Melbourne) studio
- While based in our Naarm (Melbourne) studio, you’ll also digitally look after our spaces across the continent in Gadigal (Sydney) and Ngambri/Ngunnawal (Canberra) locations
- You’ll need to be legally able to work in Australia without restrictions
To apply
Send us your CV and a short note on why this role appeals to you and what you’d bring. If you have examples of spaces, events or content you’re proud of, we’d love to see them. We'll take it from there.
In this instance we'd really love to read an application that is in your own words, written without AI, so that we are able to get the truest sense of you, how you think and how you write.
As a heads up, with a few of our team on leave at the moment, the process may take a little longer than usual. We’ll keep you posted along the way, and thanks in advance for your patience.
