Job Summary
- As a Sr Manager - MarTech DevOps / Content Supply Chain, you’ll lead the technology ecosystem that powers how Southwest creates, manages, personalizes, and delivers digital content across markets.
- This role sits at the intersection of enterprise engineering, MarTech, and creative operations, with end-to-end ownership of the technology and delivery pipeline supporting Southwest’s Content Supply Chain. You’ll architect and scale a modern ecosystem across the Adobe Enterprise suite - including Workfront, Workfront Fusion, AEM Assets and CMS capabilities - while connecting workflow, digital asset management, APIs, middleware, and content delivery technologies into a unified solution.
- Beyond operating today’s environment, you’ll help shape the next generation of Southwest’s MarTech capabilities. You’ll lead the evolution toward a more automated, API-first and “content-as-a-service” ecosystem, applying strong architectural judgment and transformational leadership to simplify workflows, increase asset reuse, accelerate personalized content deployment, and prepare the organization for an increasingly agentic future.
- You’ll also lead multidisciplinary engineering and content pods across onshore and offshore teams, partnering with Marketing, Digital, Technology and other stakeholders to deliver scalable, governed and high-performing digital experiences.
- Guide and lead Team Members using SWA talent management practices to coach, develop, and engage Employees

- Work with Technology and business partners to measure financial benefits and demonstrable business value

- Advanced knowledge of business/Leadership principals, including planning, organizing, directing, developing, and supervising

- Required: Required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or related field and/or equivalent formal training
- Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
- Fully functioning, broad knowledge in:
- A Business and/or Information Technology environment
- Leading teams and providing work direction
- 12-15 years of relevant work-related / leadership experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on architecture experience with Adobe Content Supply Chain technologies, including Workfront/Workfront Planning workflows, Workfront Fusion integrations and automated asset delivery into AEM Assets.
- 6–8 years of experience with global DAM architecture and governance, including taxonomies, metadata schemas, digital rights management, multi-region/multi-language authoring and asset migration.
- 8–10 years of experience with API-first integration and CMS architecture, including headful/headless CMS, GraphQL/REST APIs, middleware integrations, microservices and platforms such as Workfront Fusion, MuleSoft or Kafka.
- 5–7 years of experience managing hybrid engineering and content delivery pods, preferably across onshore/offshore operating models.
- 4–6 years of experience with high-volume asset optimization and content delivery, including CDN caching, edge delivery, dynamic asset rendering and brand governance.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex enterprise technology transformation and modernization initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage architecture, engineering delivery and operational outcomes across multiple interconnected platforms.
- Preferred:
- Prior engineering management experience with cross-continental teams.
- Experience with Agile delivery models, ARTs, capacity planning, burndown, velocity and related delivery metrics.
- Experience with Adobe Workfront or AEM Assets.
- Working knowledge of customer graphs and how customer data integrates with the broader MarTech ecosystem.
- Understanding of marketing consent and cookie-management concepts.
- Experience defining or measuring marketing ROI, asset reuse and campaign workflow performance.
- Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary and sensitive Company information
- Ability to work extended hours as needed
