ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Frontend Developer at Amgen India, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of responsive, scalable, and user-friendly web applications that support Amgen's digital, AI/ML, and GenAI initiatives.

Role Description:

As an Individual Contributor, you will work closely with product owners, UX designers, and backend engineers to build high-quality React-based applications, integrate with APIs and cloud services, and deliver secure, performant, and compliant solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React.js, TypeScript, modern web technologies, and frontend architecture, with a passion for creating seamless user experiences and driving technical excellence across the product lifecycle.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in React.js (mandatory)
• Proficiency in TypeScript
• Strong fundamentals in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Experience with REST API integration and frontend-backend communication
• Understanding of database concepts and backend integration
• Experience with AWS S3 integration for file upload and retrieval
• Knowledge of state management (Redux, Context API, Graph-based state management)
• Experience with Git and version control practices
• Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
• Experience with unit testing frameworks
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development practices

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Azure/AWS cloud services
• Understanding of frontend application architecture
• Experience with performance optimization and debugging
• Ability to collaborate effectively with backend and platform engineering teams

Basic Qualifications and Experience:

• Master's OR Bachelor's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering. and 4 to 7 years of work expeirence experience

Soft Skills:

• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.
• High degree of initiative and self-motivation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities successfully.
• Team-oriented, with a focus on achieving team goals.
