We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Solution Engineer to join our team. This role is primarily field-based, with approximately 70% of time spent working remotely or from a regional office within the assigned territory, supporting sales and channel technical activities. The position also requires up to 30% travel.
As a trusted technical advisor, you will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to design, position, and demonstrate cybersecurity solutions that address complex business and security challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Sales teams to drive technical engagement throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Support channel partners including VARs, MSPs, and MSSPs with solution positioning, deployment, and ongoing technical support.
- Deliver product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, technical presentations, and whiteboard sessions.
- Provide technical consultation and solution recommendations aligned with customer business objectives.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Support, Marketing, and Solution Engineering teams to address customer and partner needs.
- Participate in regional reporting activities and contribute to technical sales initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
- Drive revenue growth through effective application of technical expertise and sales acumen.
What You'll Bring

- Ability to influence and advise stakeholders on complex technical and business matters.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 6+ years of related experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of related experience, or Ph.D. with 1+ year of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification.
- Experience in Pre-Sales, Technical Support, Professional Services, or Solution Engineering roles within a cybersecurity vendor, channel partner, distributor, systems integrator, or enterprise environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Azure Associate and/or AWS Associate certification.
- SonicWall SNSA and SNSP certifications (training provided if needed).
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks including HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOX, FERPA, CIPA, and GDPR.
- Experience with managed security and cloud security environments.
