1. Job Purpose & Scope :

a.     SHE representative in the factory

b.     To follow the conformance requirements as per the group SHE guidelines

c.     To ensure the environmental tests activity done as per test plan.

d.     To ensure the SHE compliance requirements and management (regulatory / legislative)

e.     Follow KPI’s related SHE function

f.      Training on SHE awareness within the factory

g.     Liasioning with external laboratories and authorities related to SHE compliance requirements

h. To ensure the compliance to ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 9001:2015  

2. Key Result Areas:

a.     Management system throughout the organization and interaction with the other department to

secure the SHE compliance and conformance.

b.     Managing Internal and external audit related to SHE

c.     Updating the Management regarding the progress on SHE on a regular basis.

d.     Maintains all the docs and records related to compliance and conformance requirements

e.     Follow SHE KPI’s

3.       Key Responsibilities & Job Content

a.     Implementation of SHE guidelines, laws in the organization.

b.     Proposing cost saving actions in the area of responsibility.

c.     Ensure that all the environmental laws valid for the stone wool production in Gujarat and India

are followed by the factory.

d.     Update DAH on group portal - ROCKSHE

e.     Ensure that environmental testing's are carried out as per the agreement / as mentioned in

CTE/CTO.

f.      Ensure that all environmental reporting to the authorities is done as per the actual legislation.

g.     Reporting to Group as per Group requirement of MMR.

h.     Timely execution of all necessary environmental measurements.

i.       Responsible for Environmental Management System and Safety Management Systems

j.       Responsible for follow and Management of hazardous waste materials.

k.     Interactions / lesioning with govt authorities like DISH, GPCB, GIDC ,CPCB etc. towards the

environmental compliance.

l.       Interactions with test laboratories for the testing of air, water and noise pollution at the agreed

frequency.

m.   Gaining knowledge on the new directives/changes set by authorities , compliance to the

applicable directives and keep the superior updated for the same.

n.     Planning and executing audit related to SHE – both internally and externally( including group).

o.     Reporting and analyzing EKF (environment key figures) as per the Group guidelines.

p.     Monitoring the emergency and bypass functions and reporting.

q.     Lesioning and interactions related to EC to enhance the existing capacity

r.      Regular updates on XGN site of GPCB and compliance to the issues/ concerns.

s.     Leading the acts related to resolution of Env Non compliances and Non conformances

t.      All the tasks imparted by the superior – time to time.

u.     Good catch, incidents, accidents  - noncompliance investigations, initiating CA’S and closure

v.     JSA /HIRA  & Aspect/Impact promotions and coordination’s

w.    Training / awareness in the organization related to SHE

x.     Ensure continuous updated displays related to SHE within DAH

y.     Prepare and update MSDS

z.     Implement and monitor work permits

aa.  Ensure complied performance of  RO reject  and STP plant

bb.  Timely response to the visit observations of authorities.

cc.  Conduct mock drills & Fire drills to ascertain the reliability of equipment’s and competency level

of staff

dd.  Ensure proper functioning of all fire extiquishing system

ee.  Identify and provide relevant PPE’s

ff.     Conducts occupational health and safety related surveys like noise, lightings, exposure to

chemicals and recommendations
