We design, build, integrate, and operate solutions that support supplier lifecycle management, third-party onboarding, and accounts payable processes at scale. Aravo is a key platform in our indirect procurement landscape—supporting supplier onboarding, qualification, risk assessment, and master data management—and we integrate Aravo with SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, and adjacent enterprise systems so supplier and payables processes stay connected end to end.
WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
You will work with stakeholders from Indirect Procurement, Sports Marketing, Logistics and Direct Purchasing,Technical product managers, architects, engineering teams, and program stakeholders across Nike. Together, you will align technology outcomes to prioritized business capabilities and deliver solutions that support global indirect procurement, supplier onboarding, and payables processes.
You will collaborate with engineers across product squads and platform teams to design and deliver Aravo-based solutions, resolve technical dependencies, and improve service reliability, security, performance, and operational support.
You will also contribute to team health and engineering excellence through design discussions, configuration and solution reviews, pairing, documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer who combines strong engineering fundamentals with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience and demonstrated experience in Enterprise Supplier Management space. Preference will be given for experience in Aravo configuration and setup experience. Ideal candidate will have experience working in Indirect (non-trade) supplier management space. Some experience in Direct (trade related) supplier management is desired. The ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, and comfortable working across Aravo configuration, workflow and form design, custom enhancements, integration design, testing, deployment, and production support.
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5+ years of overall experience in indirect procurement processes and enterprise procurement/finance technology solutions across design, build, test, deployment, and production support.
Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in configuration, enhancement, and troubleshooting of Aravo—including workflow design, form and questionnaire configuration, business rules, supplier onboarding processes, and platform administration.
Working knowledge of indirect procurement Source-to-Pay (S2P) processes, including supplier onboarding, supplier master data management, third-party risk assessment, and integration with downstream procurement and payables systems.
Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC integration touchpoints relevant to supplier master data, procurement, and accounts payable processes.
Experience diagnosing production issues through logs, traces, monitoring, and structured root-cause analysis.
Ability to assess complex technical information, make sound trade-off decisions, and communicate clearly with both technical and business audiences.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
Experience integrating Aravo with SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, or other indirect procurement SaaS platforms.
Familiarity with supplier risk management, compliance, and audit-ready enterprise systems.
Aravo and SAP - MDG integration experience.
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Indirect Procurement Technology team, you will design, configure, build, test, deploy, and support technology solutions centered on Aravo and its integration with SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, and other enterprise systems. You will translate business requirements into reliable, secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions that improve the end-to-end indirect procurement experience—from supplier onboarding and qualification through procurement, invoicing, and payment readiness.
Key responsibilities include:
Configure, extend, and support Aravo capabilities, including supplier onboarding workflows, questionnaires, forms, approvals, business rules, supplier master data processes, and related third-party management workflows.
Design, build, and maintain integrations between Aravo and SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, and connected services using APIs, integration services, events, and file-based patterns as appropriate—for example, supplier master data synchronization, onboarding status feedback, and error handling across systems.
Partner with product and business teams to refine requirements, evaluate solution options, and translate process needs into technical designs.
Develop high-quality, supportable solutions and participate in configuration, enhancement, and design reviews.
Create automated tests and support end-to-end, integration, regression, and production validation activities.
Troubleshoot complex application, data, and integration issues across Aravo, SAP, Coupa, and connected services; drive root-cause analysis and sustainable remediation.
Contribute to observability, operational readiness, incident response, performance, security, and reliability improvements.
Support Aravo and connected platform upgrades and release activities while assessing downstream integration and business-process impacts.
Maintain clear technical documentation, including solution designs, interface mappings, configuration guides, support procedures, and operational runbooks.
Participate in Agile planning and delivery, proactively communicating dependencies, risks, trade-offs, and progress.
