About the Client

A leading North American financial services provider operating across personal, commercial, wealth management, and capital markets sectors. Following recent strategic acquisitions, the top-tier bank has significantly expanded its international footprint. Now executing an "AI-first" strategy, the organization has launched a dedicated institute for applied AI and quantum computing to drive productivity and deliver hyper-personalized digital experiences for millions of global customers.

What You’ll Do

• Partner with traders, product owners, developers, project managers, and client stakeholders to understand business requirements and validate delivered functionality.
• Analyze and validate end-to-end FX trading workflows across pre-trade, execution, post-trade, settlement, and reporting.
• Review business requirements and ensure solutions satisfy defined functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Execute business validation of FX trading functionality to ensure solutions meet business and client expectations.
• Validate RFQ (Request for Quote) workflows across single-dealer and multi-dealer trading platforms, including pricing, quote generation, execution, and trade capture.
• Prepare business test scenarios and support System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production validation activities.
• Validate expected business outcomes and assist users throughout testing cycles.
• Investigate functional issues, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with development teams to resolve business and system defects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to define business scenarios, test data requirements, and implementation readiness.
• Support production releases by validating functionality and ensuring business readiness.

What You Bring

• Strong domain expertise in Foreign Exchange (FX) trading.
• Proven experience validating end-to-end FX trade lifecycles across front, middle, and back-office systems.
• Hands-on experience validating RFQ workflows, electronic trading platforms, and dealer connectivity.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, ALM, or similar platforms. 
• Experience working with FX trading platforms and electronic execution systems.
• Strong experience supporting functional testing, business validation, SIT, and UAT activities.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and validate delivered functionality against acceptance criteria.
• Experience investigating functional defects and performing root cause analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience working within investment banking, capital markets, or financial services.
• Knowledge of FX settlement, confirmations, post-trade processing, and trade reporting.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Experience collaborating with distributed development and QA teams.
