The Accommodation Coordinator is responsible for the coordinating of the accommodation aspects of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic/Paralympic Games.
The role successfully liaises with hoteliers to coordinate contracting and inventory management as well as being the first point of contact for the Games’ time Los Angeles 2028 Olympic/Paralympics Accommodation team.
The individual must be able to effectively interact with various Functional Areas and liaise between the On Location sales team in various offices as it relates to client needs for the Olympics & Paralympics.
Primary Responsibilities include handling multiple tasks and projects, anticipating event needs, discerning work priorities, and meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Primary Responsibilities
Daily auditing of systems
Daily review of sales proposal status
Input of bookings in ACM system
Weekly rate checks on competitors and OTA websites
Contract management- organization and calendar management of payments, attrition, cancellation, cutoff dates
Take meeting notes and share tasks coming out of meetings
Site visit requests coordination
Collect and submit invoices
Payment tracking to ensure hotels are paid on time
Connect with WFO on ad hoc groups rooming list, payments, etc.
Stand up and maintain hotel materials/spreadsheets (amenities, meeting space, menus, pictures, etc.)
Work in various systems to record, process, and manage hotel inventories and reservations.

Qualifications
Required Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality or a related field, or equivalent experience required
Minimum of 2+ years in the events, travel, and/or hospitality industry
Experience in handling groups allotments, rooming lists and group billing
Fluency in English
Preferred Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Exceptional interpersonal skills - a collaborative style and ability to communicate effectively at all levels with strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
A continual drive for self-development and discovering better means of accomplishing both personal and professional goals.
Experience in sports and/or event operations

Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience. Hiring Rate Minimum:
$18.75 hourly(minimum will not fall below the applicable state/local minimum wage thresholds)Hiring Rate Maximum:
