Our employees tell us that the number one reason they enjoy working for Cochlear is the opportunity to make a difference to people’s lives. Learn and grow with us as we tackle the most complex challenges in helping more people to experience a lifetime of hearing.

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven Senior Clinical Sales Specialist to lead strategic growth across hospital and clinical

accounts in Singapore.

As our Senior Clinical Sales Specialist / Key Account Manager, you will help expand access to hearing solutions by building trusted relationships with hearing-aid partners, ENT surgeons, audiologists and verbal therapists. You will combine clinical knowledge, commercial insight and genuine curiosity to understand each account, identify opportunities and help more potential candidates receive the right treatment for their hearing loss.

This is an opportunity to use your expertise for something bigger: supporting healthcare professionals, strengthening partnerships and contributing to better outcomes for patients.

Your opportunity to make an impact

You will take ownership of a portfolio of key accounts, working closely with the Country Manager and colleagues across the business to turn account insights into practical growth plans.

You will:

  • Build partnerships that matter: Develop strong, credible relationships with key people across your accounts and create an environment where customers feel understood, supported and confident working with Cochlear.

  • Unlock sustainable growth: Develop and implement key account plans, identify market opportunities and use thoughtful problem-solving to support sales growth across your territory

  • Increase access to hearing solutions: Help grow cochlear implant referrals by understanding customer needs, sharing relevant market intelligence and creating solutions that support healthcare professionals, patients and Cochlear.

  • Bring learning to life: Identify training needs and lead educational, candidate and professional events with key accounts.

  • Connect clinical and commercial expertise: Where appropriate, provide clinical or surgical support to professional partners in line with account and territory strategies.

  • Turn insight into action: Complete sales forecasts, maintain account metrics and keep Salesforce information accurate and current so teams can collaborate effectively

  • Strengthen the wider team: Share customer and sales insights that help shape marketing content, improve ways of working and support stronger business outcomes.

What you will bring

You are someone who builds trust naturally and brings together clinical understanding, commercial thinking and a strong commitment to customer and patient outcomes.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Audiology or a healthcare-related discipline such as Pharmacy or Bioengineering.

  • Three to five years’ experience in the hearing field, or three to five years’ experience in the pharmaceutical or medical-device industry working with ENTs.

  • Strong sales, influencing and presentation capabilities.

  • An understanding of institutional and B2B sales, supported by sound commercial acumen.

  • A demonstrated ability to build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Professionalism, cultural sensitivity and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of people.

  • Fluency in English. Spoken Mandarin would be advantageous.

  • The confidence to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team.

  • Availability to travel outside Singapore for up to 20% of the role.

Experience in a medical-device environment would be valuable but is not essential. Previous clinical exposure to cochlear implants, bone-conduction implant technology or hearing aids would also be highly regarded.

How you will work

You will be trusted to lead your accounts with initiative, sound judgement and a clear sense of ownership. You will know when to work independently, when to bring others into the conversation and how to move from a complex challenge to a practical solution.

You will also bring the organisation, responsiveness and resilience needed to manage competing priorities and work constructively through challenging situations.

Why this role matters.

Behind every account plan, professional event and customer conversation is the possibility of helping someone take another step towards better hearing.

Here, commercial success and human impact are closely connected. Your work will help trusted professionals better understand Cochlear’s portfolio, strengthen pathways to treatment and create opportunities for more people to connect with the people and experiences that matter to them.

If you are ready to bring your clinical knowledge, commercial curiosity and relationship-building strengths to a role with meaningful impact, we would welcome your application.
