The Impact You Will Make

The ideal candidate is someone with a broad range of data analysis, visualization, and strategic thinking skills. In this position as Senior Marketing Analyst, you will support the analytics and reporting of paid media campaigns to help our teams and clients answer key campaign performance questions. We operate on the leading edge of ad technology, where the learning curve is quick and steep. We need a data-driven problem solver eager to tackle the analytical challenges of today while preparing for the shifting landscape of tomorrow.

What the Day-to-Day Looks Like

  • Manage and support data, analytics, and reporting workflows for paid media campaigns, including audience management, reporting dashboard setup, QA, and troubleshooting.
  • Implement website analytics and conversion tracking according to needs articulated by client and fellow paid media team members.
  • Execute audience onboarding and activation for paid media campaigns.
  • Participate in meetings and calls with vendors and internal teams, including taking and sharing meeting notes.
  • Collaborate with and enable the media and client teams with reporting data to make strategic campaign optimizations.
  • Manage communication among internal buying, planning and insights teams, including updating project management tools and organizing project briefs, kick off meetings, and timelines.
  • Monitor media measurement and AdTech trends, tools, opportunities and applications and appropriately apply that knowledge and share cross team.
  • Attend new vendor meetings and team trainings to develop knowledge of the fast-changing digital media landscape.
  • Understand and articulate the agency’s approach to media analytics and audience onboarding.

Requirements

  • 1-3 year(s) relevant work experience; exposure to digital media analytics from internships, fellowships or agency-setting is ideal.
  • Exposure to or experience with specialized data tools, automated workflows, or programming languages (e.g., R packages, Python, Datorama, SuperMetrics, Tableau, LiveRamp, Google Analytics).
  • Experience cleaning, standardizing, and evaluating the quality of large, complex data sets to drive critical decision-making processes.
  • Familiarity with digital campaign KPIs and advertising measurement concepts (e.g. multi touch attribution, identity graphs, etc.).
  • Experience with project management tools like Monday.com, Slack, or Asana.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. You can interpret data to communicate with others who have limited experience with ad analytics.
  • Close attention to detail with ability to quickly troubleshoot errors with data sets, or data streams.
  • Ability to work autonomously on projects with proper direction from superiors and to manage multiple tasks and timelines concurrently.
  • Intellectual curiosity. Motivated to solve complex problems on behalf of a diverse client roster, from progressive political organizations and non-profits to Fortune 500 companies.
