Title: SATCOM Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Support

Location: Amman, Jordan

Description:
C3EL is seeking a cleared and experienced professional to join our team in Jordan. The SATCOM O&M Support position will support the day-to-day maintenance and operation of assigned terminals.
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Knowledge of tactical and commercial satellite communication equipment.
- Proficient in operating Satellite Modems, Redundancy Switches, associated cables, and interconnects; Up Converters, Down Converters, High Power Amplifiers (HPAs), Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), Low Noise Block (LNB); Waveguide (rigid, flex, and elliptical) joints and connections; Intermediate Frequency (IF) cables and connections; Antennas, Antenna motors, Solid State Power Amplifiers (SSPA), Antenna Control Units (ACU), and related cabling and interconnects; Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) units; Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS); and Generators (if applicable).
- Skilled in technical documentation for SAR, GAR, TSR, and ASI requests.
- Experienced in using Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE) such as power meters, spectrum analyzers, Firebird testers, volt meters, and similar tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active, in-scope Secret clearance.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting installation, repair, troubleshooting, or maintenance of satellite communications electronic systems or equipment.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating in a tactical satellite environment, including operation and maintenance of antenna controllers, SSPA, LNA/LNB, up/down converters, fiber optic, coax, Ethernet cables, FDMA and TDMA modems, and Modem Hub operations.
- Experience and proficiency with commercial and military satellite TDMA/FDMA modems required.
- Candidates must meet applicable DCWF DoD 8140 requirements for the assigned work role (411-Technical Support Specialist, Basic) through approved certifications, or education, or military training, or a combination thereof.
- Qualifying 8140 certifications may include A+, CND, Network+, Security+, or other DoD 8140-approved higher-level certifications aligned to the assigned work role.
- Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.
- Must possess a valid U.S. passport.
Education:
- An Associate’s degree in Electronics preferred, OR a certification plus 7 total years of recent specialized experience, OR 11 total years of recent specialized experience.
