SAP WM / EWM Consultant
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced SAP WM / EWM Consultant with strong expertise in warehouse management processes and SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management. The consultant will be responsible for requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, implementation, rollout, and production support for warehouse and logistics processes.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP WM and/or SAP EWM, with strong knowledge of inbound, outbound, internal warehouse operations, inventory management, RF, handling units, warehouse tasks/orders, and integration with SAP MM, SD, PP, QM and TM.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and translate warehouse processes into SAP WM/EWM solutions.
- Conduct requirement workshops, fit-gap analysis and solution design.
- Configure and support SAP WM / SAP EWM processes.
- Design warehouse organizational structures.
- Configure and support inbound warehouse processes,
- Configure and support outbound processes,
- Configure internal warehouse processes
- Configure warehouse process types, warehouse tasks, warehouse orders and warehouse order creation rules.
- Work with Handling Units (HU), packaging specifications, batch management and serial number management.
- Configure and support POSC (Process-Oriented Storage Control) and LOSC (Layout-Oriented Storage Control).
- Support slotting, rearrangement, replenishment and storage optimization.
- Configure and support RF framework, RF transactions, mobile devices and barcode/scanner integration.
- Work with Warehouse Monitor for operational monitoring and issue resolution.
- Support PPF actions, exception handling and warehouse automation scenarios.
- Support integration with automated warehouse equipment, MFS/WCS/PLC where applicable.
SAP identifies inbound processing, storage/operations and outbound processing as the major EWM process areas, with warehouse tasks/orders driving physical warehouse movements.

- Strong understanding of warehouse and logistics business processes.
- Experience working with business users, developers and technical teams.
- Experience in production support and incident resolution.
- Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD and PP.
For senior EWM positions, current postings commonly seek around 5–8 years of experience and multiple full-cycle implementations/rollouts.
