POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide daily and scheduled sanitation services to Uptown Bakeries safely and efficiently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Cleaning, sanitizing, and disassembling -reassemble equipment
- according to SOP procedures.
- Works in a hot and cold environment.
- Cleans processing equipment, overhead pipes, and conveyors in a
wet and dry environment.
- Scrubs processing tanks and kettles, conveyors.
- Sweeps and mops floors and scrubs walls.
- Follows SOP sanitation cleaning procedures.
- May be trained to operate forklift and scissor lift.
- Uses cleaning chemicals, water hose, brushes, and air wand.
- Exposed to chemicals.
- Moderate to heavy lifting.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, and move around.

- Uses the triple sink to clean small wares.
- Uses an air vacuum to pick up water.
- Pushes water on floor using a squeegee.
- Uses the rack washer to wash trays.
- Operates production equipment and conveyors.
- Lifts and dumps heavy containers of dough scrap.
- Comply with all safety requirements including chemical safety and
