Your role and responsibilities
Responsible for the sales of ABB products, systems, and services within Indonesia for Pulp, Paper and Fiber Business Line, in line with division strategy. The role achieves both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. The role identifies and develops new sales opportunities, with a primary focus on Pulp & Paper and related process industries in Indonesia.

This role is contributing to the Pulp, Paper and Fiber Business Line in Indonesia.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive sustainable sales growth and achieve order, revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.
Build, manage, and continuously improve a healthy sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and opportunity progression.
Establish and strengthen relationships with key customer stakeholders across management, operations, engineering, maintenance, and procurement functions.
Identify customer challenges, understand business drivers, and position ABB solutions to create measurable customer value.
Lead sales opportunities throughout the entire sales cycle, from opportunity qualification to negotiation and order closure.
Drive proposal development and commercial discussions, ensuring alignment on technical, pricing, contractual, risk, and delivery requirements.
Identify and develop new business opportunities, market segments, and growth initiatives within the assigned territory or industry.
Collaborate with local, regional, and cross-functional teams to leverage ABB's full portfolio, share market intelligence, and deliver a superior customer experience.
Qualifications for the role
Basic knowledge of industrial automation or electrical systems, with strong willingness to learn ABB Pulp, Paper & Fiber solutions.
Strong listening and consultative skills, with the ability to understand customer challenges, identify root causes, and position ABB as a trusted solution provider by recommending value-added solutions that address customer needs.
Willing and able to support service-related activities when required, including site visits, troubleshooting support, customer discussions.
Support opportunity identification, pipeline management, and solution selling activities. Coordinate tender and proposal preparation with basic commercial and pricing knowledge.
Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn, with strong listening and communication skills.
Able to work in a target-driven, performance-oriented environment with a strong focus on achieving sales and profitability objectives.
Willing to travel extensively across Indonesia and occasionally within Southeast Asia, including working at customer sites.
Understand and comply with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) requirements.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience in data analytics, industrial automation solutions, or service sales is an advantage.
Language: Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and good working English are required. Additional language skills such as Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia are an advantage.
