About Us
We are a high-performance Formula One team driven by innovation, precision, and passion. The Role
As a Reliability Student Placement, you will support investigations into reliability challenges experienced both at the factory and on track, helping to understand why faults occur, and reducing future risks. Through a combination of data analysis, hands-on investigation, testing, and collaboration with engineers across multiple departments, you'll help identify improvement opportunities and contribute to solutions that enhance car performance and reliability. You will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the car, at all stages of the design and validation process, whilst learning from experienced engineers and reacting to faults as they happen at the track.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Reliability Department in the management and tracking of faults and components across the organisation.
Assist with fault investigations, root cause analysis activities, and the implementation of corrective actions.
Assist with reliability reporting and the maintenance of component life tracking systems.
Analyse reliability data to identify trends, emerging risks, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
Work with engineers across Design, Manufacturing, Operations, and Performance groups to gather information and track progress on fault resolution activities.
Support system and process improvement initiatives within the Reliability function
Participate in technical reviews, meetings, and discussions, gaining exposure to the lifecycle of car development.
Collaborate with design, performance, manufacturing, and test teams to implement reliability improvements
Help ensure components meet reliability, performance, and regulatory requirements
