We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Officer who shares our values and is passionate about supporting smooth store operations. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and focused on both accuracy and customer service.

As a Receiving Officer, you will play a key role behind the scenes—ensuring inventory is received, processed, and handled efficiently. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help maintain proper stock levels and support the overall customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Verify received goods against purchase orders and invoices; label boxes and send items to the sales floor
• Maintain accurate records for all goods, including damage reports and product returns
• Organize van deliveries and uphold security standards in the receiving area
• Coordinate with suppliers, drivers, and store staff to ensure smooth inventory flow
• Monitor inventory levels, restocking, and stock rotation
• Assist in store displays and merchandising, ensuring well-maintained and visually appealing
• Assist in sales and promotions to maximize revenue
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally

REQUIREMENTS

• Five (5) CXC passes, including Mathematics & English
• At least two (2) years of experience in a retail
• Strong customer service and sales experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Effective time management and ability to multitask
• Good physical condition, stamina, and strength required
