At Four Seasons Sharm El Sheikh Resort, we are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receiving Agent to join our Purchasing team. The Receiving Agent plays a critical role in ensuring that all goods delivered to the hotel are accurately received, inspected, documented, and distributed, supporting seamless hotel operations and maintaining Four Seasons quality standards.
What You Will Do
- Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Ensure all products meet hotel quality standards, specifications, and hygiene requirements.
- Record and process receiving transactions accurately within the hotel's inventory and procurement systems.
- Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance, Culinary, Housekeeping, and other departments regarding received goods.
- Identify and report discrepancies, shortages, damages, or quality concerns to the Purchasing Manager and relevant suppliers.
- Maintain accurate receiving logs, records, and supporting documentation for audit purposes.
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and distribution of goods following hotel policies and health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock verification activities as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure receiving area at all times.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Purchasing and Receiving function.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in Business, Supply Chain, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in receiving, purchasing, inventory control, or a related hospitality role.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory or procurement systems preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
