- Own the installation, qualification, maintenance, upgrade, and performance of assigned RDA and Metrology equipment
- Develop and maintain equipment procedures, preventive maintenance plans, training materials, and technical documentation
- Partner with suppliers and internal engineering teams to resolve equipment issues and improve tool reliability and uptime
- Investigate equipment abnormalities, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Drive equipment matching, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives across the fab network
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related engineering or scientific discipline
- 2 or more years experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and software systems in a semiconductor environment
- Proficiency in statistics, statistical process control (SPC), data analysis, and design of experiments (DOE)
- Ability to analyze technical data, draw conclusions, and communicate results through technical reports
- Knowledge of safety principles, including ergonomics, OSHA requirements, and safe equipment design practices
- Experience supporting, maintaining, or improving semiconductor manufacturing equipment
- Proven ability to lead projects and manage multiple high-priority initiatives through implementation and deployment
- Experience collaborating with suppliers and managing equipment vendor activities
- Proficiency with engineering problem-solving methodologies such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Fishbone diagrams
- Experience using AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve equipment performance, reliability, and predictive maintenance efforts
- Experience with 3D CAD modeling software
