JOB SUMMARY
Leads Quantitative Office (QO) program execution, operating discipline, and delivery transparency across model development, control partner engagement, and strategic management initiatives. Partners with model development leaders, business line partners and stakeholders, finance, and risk functions to translate priorities into executable plans, clarifying capacity tradeoffs, key milestones, risks and opportunities, and producing executive-ready reporting and decision materials. Drives consistent standards, governance routines, and operating practices that improve decision speed, practitioner throughput, and progress against strategic initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job.  Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below.  Specific activities may change from time to time. 

1. Plans and coordinates closely with functional QO managers and stakeholders. Ensures projects and initiatives are developed with consideration for budgeting, planning, and reporting.

2. Works closely with model development leaders, technology partners, finance, risk/control partners, and other subject matter experts to clarify requirements, dependencies, capacity constraints, and decision points to support program needs and deliver program outcomes.

3. Maintains program delivery visibility through dashboards, executive updates, and portfolio health reporting that clearly communicate progress, risks, issues, tradeoffs, and required actions.

4. Establishes and maintains operating standards for program planning, status reporting, issue escalation, governance materials, and executive communications in alignment with company and unit requirements.

5. Identifies risks to delivery, quality, capacity, and governance requirements, develops mitigation plans, and escalates decisions and tradeoffs when leadership action is required.

6. Coordinates exams, audits, risk oversight reviews, and issue remediation to support timely, accurate, and well-organized responses.

7. Leads cross-functional workstreams and working groups to drive execution against model delivery, strategic expansion, and operating improvement goals.

8. Supports Quantitative Office financial discipline, resource planning, hiring coordination, enterprise program requirements, and other business management routines.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

2. Ten years (10) progressive related experience in consulting, program management, business operations, or process improvement, preferably in a financial services or similar regulated environment.

3. Strong skills and experience in issue resolution, influencing stakeholders, driving decisions, managing ambiguity, and delivering under stringent timelines.

4. Demonstrated superior understanding of business operations, model development or analytics functions, governance expectations, and enterprise policies.

5. Demonstrated leadership in the implementation of complex programs and projects.

6. Ability to bring clarity to ambiguous assignments.

7. Demonstrated executive level verbal and written communication skills, including concise write-ups, decision materials, dashboards, and PowerPoint presentations.

8. Working knowledge of business matters, finance, planning, forecasting, capacity management, and portfolio reporting.

9. Strong skills in MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, Project)

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Advanced degree in a relevant field of work (e.g., MBA), PMP and/or PgMP.

2. Certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement, facilitation and project management methodologies.

3. Experience supporting model development, quantitative analytics, risk management, regulatory remediation, and audit/exam management.

4. Experience designing operating models, intake/prioritization processes, executive reporting routines, and governance forums for complex initiatives.

5. Experience with financial measurements and metrics.

6. Financial Services experience, preferably quantitative analytics, model development, model risk management, or related control environments.

7. Knowledge of business unit’s mission and processes.

8. Experience implementing large/complex initiatives across a matrix organization and influencing without direct authority.
