ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join world-class experts in finding answers to our customer’s toughest questions as a Quality Inspector. Quality Inspector supports quality assurance and quality control activities for products and services to meet the requirements of internal and external stakeholders. Key focus areas include inspection, document management, non‑conformance handling, and compliance with the quality management system. This role is suitable for detail‑oriented individuals who excel in process execution and regulatory compliance.
Specifically, the role will be responsible for:
- Perform IQC, IPQC and FQC on raw materials, semi‑finished goods and finished products in accordance with drawings, technical specifications and operating procedures.
- Carry out visual, functional and basic dimensional inspections using approved tools and equipment.
- Maintain test results and inspection records to ensure their accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal procedures.
- Enter data and perform transactions in ERP and Quality Management system.
- Create FAI records and follow up until report completion.
- Raise non‑conformance items in the system upon rejection, and track through to closure.
- Manage validity periods of equipment and chemicals.
- Understand basic concepts of internal audits and adhere to ISO 9001 quality management system guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
ABOUT THE CANDIDATE
To be a competent Quality Technician, we expect candidates to possess basic data‑analysis skills, excellent observation skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Monitor product integrity and quality efficiently without compromising production efficiency.
Our ideal candidate shall have the following work experience and skills:
• Quality certification is preferred
• Minimum two years of relevant quality‑related working experience is preferred
• Hands‑on practical experience in mechanical‑electrical, optical or related manufacturing workshops is preferred
• Ability to understand basic data‑analysis concepts, quality tools, inspection methods and manufacturing processes
• Ability to leverage AI tools to support decision‑making
• Proficiency in office automation software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for problem‑solving
• Capability to interpret drawings, specifications and operating procedure
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work with little or no supervision
• Ability to multi‑task and properly prioritize work assignments
