Job Summary:

Oversees the negotiation, structure and administration of contractual documents that establish business relationships with suppliers for purchasing of products for re-sale to customers. Ensures favorable terms and volume discounts are negotiated that comply with company policies and procedures, legal requirements and/or other specifications.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manages the activities and staff involved in purchasing and procurement of goods and supplies, equipment, services, systems, software or technical equipment for the re-sale to customers.
• - Manage stakeholders across business functions, including sales teams, supplier management and marketing; ensuring alignment on business strategy.
• Develops, documents, implements and coordinates procurement activities company-wide to maximize scale efficiencies and deliver industry-leading effectiveness. Ensures procurement strategy aligns with company strategy.
• Develops and negotiates contracts, and implements and monitors procurement processes to ensure efficient execution and best in class acquisitions. Minimizes the company's risk exposure to finance, audit and legal issues.
• Provides strategic procurement guidance and develops programs, policies and procedures to produce efficiencies and reduce expenses through strategic sourcing. Ensures compliance to formal sourcing/procurement policies. Directs, reviews, and approves all major sourcing decisions.
• Manages a team including providing oversight and direction for financial and operational activities.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Level Specifications:

• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support teams comprised of individual contributors. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion. May coordinate work activities with other supervisors.
• Directs routine and repetitive operations of team.
• Assignments are largely established in accordance with schedules and deliverables. Decisions are guided by policies, procedures and business plans.
• Collaborates daily with direct reports and peers within similar functions primarily for the purpose of exchanging information.
• Decisions have a direct impact on team operations. Erroneous decisions or failure to achieve results may cause delays in schedules and require the allocation of additional time, people and/or financial resources.

Work Experience:

• Typically 4+ years relevant work experience

Education and Certification(s):

• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience from which comparable knowledge and job skills can be obtained.
