The Project & Program Management II role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering multiple cross-functional technical programs and projects from initiation through completion. This individual will work across internal teams, technical stakeholders, vendors, and client partners to establish program objectives, manage dependencies, drive execution, mitigate risks, and ensure successful delivery against defined timelines and business goals.
The ideal candidate is a highly organized and proactive Program Manager who can manage multiple concurrent workstreams, bring structure to complex initiatives, influence cross-functional teams, and communicate effectively with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
Experience supporting IT infrastructure, data center environments, hardware deployments, or critical facility systems such as HVAC/heating and cooling is beneficial but not required.
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage multiple cross-functional programs, projects, and workstreams from initiation through delivery and closure.
Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, roadmaps, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Drive program execution across technical, operational, engineering, vendor, and business teams.
Establish program governance, operating rhythms, stakeholder communication plans, and reporting structures.
Partner with functional teams throughout initiation, planning, design, procurement, deployment, implementation, and post-deployment phases.
Define program and project scope, objectives, requirements, success criteria, and deliverables in partnership with key stakeholders.
Identify and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and resource constraints, developing mitigation and escalation strategies as needed.
Track program performance using metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and other reporting mechanisms to measure progress and identify areas requiring attention.
Provide clear and concise program status updates to leadership, client executives, and key stakeholders.
Lead and facilitate recurring program meetings, project reviews, stakeholder discussions, and cross-functional working sessions.
Coordinate activities across multiple teams to ensure dependencies are understood, ownership is established, and commitments are delivered.
Manage changes to program scope, schedules, priorities, resources, and requirements through established change management processes.
Serve as a central point of contact between internal teams, technical stakeholders, vendors, contractors, and client partners.
Track vendor commitments, procurement activities, resource requirements, and external dependencies that may impact program delivery.
Create and maintain program documentation including project plans, schedules, RAID logs, status reports, executive summaries, process documentation, and decision tracking.
Identify gaps and inefficiencies across teams and implement process improvements, standardization, and scalable program management practices.
Evaluate program outcomes against established objectives and recommend improvements to future delivery practices.
Support technical initiatives that may include IT infrastructure, network/server deployments, hardware implementations, system upgrades, and data center-related projects.
Other duties as required.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree and 2–5 years of project/program management or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple cross-functional projects, programs, or workstreams simultaneously.
Strong understanding of program and project management principles, including planning, scheduling, dependency management, risk management, change control, and stakeholder management.
Experience developing and maintaining program plans, roadmaps, schedules, RAID logs, dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reporting.
Proven ability to drive projects forward in environments where resources may report into different functional organizations.
Strong experience identifying risks, resolving blockers, managing competing priorities, and escalating issues appropriately.
Ability to establish structure and operating processes for complex or ambiguous initiatives.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work across technical teams, business partners, vendors, and leadership.
Ability to communicate program status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to client executives and senior leadership.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Experience creating spreadsheets, presentations, project documentation, executive summaries, and status reporting.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Self-starter who can quickly learn new tools, technologies, processes, and business environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing technical programs involving IT infrastructure, engineering, network, server, hardware, or technology deployments.
Experience supporting large-scale, multi-team, or geographically distributed programs.
Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies.
Experience with project/program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms.
PMP, CAPM, Agile/Scrum, ITIL, or other relevant project/program management certifications.
Exposure to data center environments, infrastructure deployments, hardware installations, expansions, upgrades, or refresh programs.
General understanding of data center infrastructure such as servers, racks, networking, cabling, power, space, and capacity.
Exposure to critical facility infrastructure, HVAC, heating/cooling, airflow management, or environmental systems is a plus.
Familiarity with data center tools or technologies such as DCIM, BMS/BAS, environmental monitoring, or capacity management systems is a plus.
Physical Demand & Work Environment
Ability to perform standard office-related tasks, including prolonged sitting or standing and computer use.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
May occasionally require work within data center or technical facility environments.
Must follow applicable facility safety, security, and access procedures when working onsite.
Salary Range
$66,120.00 - $104,400.00 USD (Salary)- Please note that the salary information provided herein is base pay only (gross); it does not include other forms of compensation which may or may not apply to this specific position, namely, performance-based bonuses, benefits-related payments, or other general incentives - none of which are guaranteed, may be subject to specific eligibility requirements, and are wholly within the discretion of Astreya to remit.
