At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for a professional Project Management Officer to join our UniQue Brussels, Belgium team.
What will you be bringing to the team?
- Assess project maturity against the selected project management methodology and provide guidance to improve compliance.
- Support the implementation and application of project management methodologies, including PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, and Scrum practices.
- Provide guidance to project teams and project managers on project management processes, standards, deliverables, and governance requirements.
- Support compliance with IT Governance rules and organizational project management requirements.
- Maintain and support PMO/PPMO tools used for project planning, status reporting, risk reporting, follow-up, and organization of project management activities at project and portfolio level.
- Develop, maintain, and improve reporting solutions using Power BI, Power Automate, Jira, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, and Excel.
- Support portfolio monitoring by providing visibility on project progress, risks, issues, resources, budgets, and key performance indicators.
- Participate in reviews of project estimates, including costs, timelines, and resource requirements.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of project plans and monitor activities against agreed plans.
- Prepare regular and accurate project and portfolio reports.
- Ensure effective monitoring of project costs, schedules, and resources, and review corrective actions when deviations are identified.
- Support the definition and management of change control procedures, ensuring that project changes are assessed and agreed with relevant stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement activities aimed at increasing project maturity, data quality, documentation quality, and compliance.
- Provide coaching, training, and support to project managers and teams to facilitate the adoption of project management tools, methodologies, and practices.
- Contribute to Agile transformation activities and support teams in improving transparency, collaboration, and delivery predictability.
Requirements
What do you need to succeed in this position?
- At least4 yearsof studies attested by a diploma + minimum of 8 years post-secondary professional experience
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in project management, including at least 3 years of experience in a PMO role, working on IT projects and experience working in an Agile software development environment.
- Mandatory experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, as well as Power BI, Power Automate, and Jira.
- Good knowledge of project management methodologies, including PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, and Scrum.
- Strong theoretical knowledge of Scrum concepts, including ceremonies, artefacts, and roles.
- Project management certification (PM², PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
- Experience with SharePoint and Teams administration is an asset.
- Experience providing coaching or training to project teams is an advantage
- Good knowledge of English
