Job Description Summary:

• Resource planning to meet the annual financial plan volumes along with monthly SNOP volumes.

• Review & execute the monthly production schedule as given by supply chain.

• Anticipate & highlight likely bottlenecks, gives an advance intimation to SCO as needed to optimize the monthly plan.

• Work closely with GMR, Print & FI team to ensure optimal utilization of resources & timely delivery as per monthly plan.

• Coordinate with M&E, Utilities team so that HCM / allied utilities equipment is made available for executing preventive or condition based maintenance activities.

• Plan for HCM consumables & coordinate with M&E team for HCM improvement actions.

• Develop & improve departmental SOP’s. Drive compliance to SOPs by providing regular training.

• Work with QA team, in case of any customer complaints and proactively identify & take improvement actions to reduce customer complaints.

• Ensure production jobs are carried out in safe & environmental friendly manner. Work with EHS & M&E to mitigate any anticipated EHS risk.

• Ensure that the team maintains departmental KPI’s of production/plant yield, A%T & files /100 orders as planned.

• Coordinates with stores & finance teams for accurate reporting vis a vis consumption, production & usage variance.

• Coordinate with site HR & Global CMS team to continually upgrade the technical / behavioral skills of supervisors & workmen.

• Coordinate with M&E team for IQ / OQ & PQ of the new HCM or capsule testing equipment as per protocol.

• Develop multiskilling & talent pool amongst the team members.

• Drive continuous improvement programs & projects as per organization strategy.

Key responsibilities:

• Execute production as per plan.

• Drive production yield / plant yield & A%T as per plan.

• In-house Quality rejection / resort & files / 100 orders as per plan.

• Make all the printing reports like daily, weekly and monthly report.

• Conduct & lead in routine Hoshin meetings as per schedule.

• Drive GMP improvement initiatives, conduct area & process audits.

• Drive EHS improvement initiatives & compliance to prevailing SOPs & guidelines.

• Handling of customer complaints related to HCM.

• Drive the unprinted capsules quality improvement action plan.

• Reviewing the HCM production SOP and make changes as necessary.

• Provide the required technical, process trainings and administrative support to the HCM colleagues.

• Ensure all consumables & critical spares related to empty capsule E-sorting are available in plant for its smooth operations.

• To prepare PR and do the follow up with purchase for the HCM consumables items.

• Reviews the color sample preparation as per the customer sample and approve or recommend for change if any required.

• Organize the technical modification / upgradation / new equipment installation as required in the HCM area.

• Do the validation of new equipment installation or any equipment upgrades carried out in the HCM area.

• Fill the change control for required process & engineering upgrade in the HCM area.

• Handling of internal and external audits.

• Strives to source domestic suppliers for HCM consumables so as to reduce inventory carrying cost, R & M cost as per plan.

• Ensure supervisory staff & workmen are well trained. Continually improve their skills and competence levels.

• Establishes good working relations by motivating and coordinating all personals in printing section.

Key requirements:

• B. Pharma / B E / B.Tech., MBA or similar management qualification
