WE ARE GAME MAKERS

Who We Are:

We are a diverse team of developers driven by a passion for our art, united by our core values and inspired by a culture of inclusivity to build amazing games that thrill players everywhere. We pursue growth and innovation in an environment of safety and trust. Our culture is built on the belief that the more varied voices in our collective will strengthen our team and our games. We are looking for our next teammate who will raise our bar and make us better.

What We Need:

We are seeking a driven addition to the production team who will act as a Producer, partnering with the UI tech team to plan, update, and execute regular deliveries while owning full dept planning. The ideal candidate is an adaptive planner and problem solver with a strong ability to collaborate with others to create, organize, track, and manage schedules with clear, actionable, and attainable goals.

Additionally, the Producer will collaborate with key leaders and individual contributors to identify risks early, suggest effective mitigation strategies, and understand how to manage or prevent unplanned development and/or scope creep. Working collaboratively as an integrated member of the production team, you will act as a champion for the UI tech group, managing and prioritizing requests from feature teams as well as juggling the team’s own internal backlog; overcoming complex problems and fostering strong relationships across the team.

What You'll Do:

  • Production Management & Delivery: Act as a Production Department Owner, taking full accountability for the UI tech group’s schedule and delivery pipeline

  • Schedule & Goal Creation: Collaborate with other producers to organize, track, and manage schedules with clear, actionable, and attainable goals, remaining flexible to support fast and frequent change. This includes the daily management and tracking of tasks, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and so-on.

  • Risk & Scope Mitigation: Utilize previous experience in this field, as well as overall game development knowledge, to predict, identify, and propose solutions for project and personnel risks early. Identify when "enough is enough" and partner up with dev teams to manage feature or scope creep.

  • Department Ownership: Act as the production owner and integrated team member for the UI tech group, actively working in a cross-collaborative way to identify feasibility, efficiently plan delivery and proactively keep client groups updated of any kind of major developments that could be inviting risk.

  • Issue Resolution & Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement and efficiencies, tackle issues in a timely manner to prevent "dangling threads" and avoid costly solutions when better options exist. Partner with group directors / leads to eliminate bottlenecks and reduce redundancy.

  • Team Communication: Maintain constant, clear communication with various other teams and production leadership. Organize and report departmental updates at the right frequency, with appropriate detail and clarity in the right channels. Facilitate open communication via meetings, slack, confluence and email – understanding which is best suited for the situation at hand.

  • Team Supervision: While direct career management is not expected at this juncture, the Producer will be expected to monitor trends like team morale, execution velocity, and alignment with project needs; flagging any issues or disconnects to the appropriate team leaders or, if possible, rectifying on their own.

  • Strategic Alignment: Understand the strategic planning process and how proper execution positively benefits downstream teams and dependencies. Work with direct manager to understand next-level career steps.

Who You Are:

  • An Adaptive Planner & Doer: Consistently meets deadlines and acts as an opportunistic "doer" who can identify what needs doing or improving or be relied on to execute against priorities outlined by senior Production staff.

  • A Trusted Collaborator: A professional, respectful, and approachable bridge builder, accommodator, and facilitator who maintains strong relationships, manages varied personalities, and helps directors / team leaders shield the team from undesirable internal/external forces.

  • An Adept Communicator: Highly developed in written and verbal communication (including public speaking) with a knack for giving constructive feedback and the ability to influence without authority in "gray" areas. Understands to ask for help from a more senior leader when certain issues require a bit more support.

  • An Active Listener: Self-aware, emotionally mature, active listener who values regular interaction, encourages feedback, and promotes open communication across all departments. Understands that listening isn’t just waiting for their turn to speak.

  • An Eye for Quality: Possesses a proven eye for visual and functional quality, while understanding when support, not direction, is needed.

  • A Helping Hand: Displays a commitment to supporting team growth by keeping the greater good of the dev team at the forefront while putting personal interest aside.

  • Grounded in the Craft: Speaks the languages of game development and has a fundamental understanding of pipelines, processes, and discipline-specific concepts.

  • Tooling: Minimum intermediate level JIRA experience paired with a strong understanding of Agile processes and how to adapt to a game development reality.

  • Level of Experience: Consistent and accountable department owner for the production team.
