THE ROLE

Drives global procurement strategy, enterprise category architecture, and commercial performance across all goods and services. Functions as a high-impact commercial leader and strategic advisor to senior executive stakeholders, driving margin expansion, governing complex program pipelines, and steering high-performing procurement teams

Key Responsibilities:

1. People Leadership

• Direct, coach, and inspire international procurement teams. Build top-tier commercial capability, drive talent retention, and establish robust succession frameworks

2. Category & Contract Strategy

• Develop enterprise-level global category strategies that optimize total cost of ownership (TCO), mitigate supply network risk, and capture innovation across global markets

• Ensure effective governance, resource allocation, and timely execution of the category programme. 
• Maintain a balanced project pipeline aligned with overarching business objectives and financial plans.

4. Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the trusted commercial partner to senior stakeholders up to and including at Board Level
• Navigate and influence a complex, multi-cultural, international stakeholder environment.
• Build trust, challenge status quo with credible insights, and align procurement vision with business ambitions.
