Pricing Expert

The role reports directly to the FP&A Business Partner Commercial with an extended team of 11 team members

What does Pricing Expert do?

• Prepare Enterprise Solutions financial proposals for B2B products and services.
• Develop commercial pricing models for Cloud offerings including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, Virtual Data Center (VDC), Backup-as-a-Service (BaaS), Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service (DRaaS), and hardware/software resale solutions.
• Build end-to-end commercial proposals for cloud and hybrid ICT opportunities by evaluating cloud infrastructure costs, licensing, managed services, implementation charges, and recurring revenue streams.
• Collaborate with cloud solution architects, vendor management, and sales teams to price solutions involving hyperscaler platforms (e.g., AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud) and partner-led cloud services.
• Evaluate existing and new business opportunities using financial models (NPV, IRR, Payback, Margin %) and assess the impact of CapEx, OpEx, payment terms, contract tenure, and cloud consumption models.
• Establish floor pricing, discount thresholds, bundling strategies, and commercial frameworks for integrated connectivity and cloud solutions.
• Conduct regular analysis of market conditions, competitor pricing, and emerging Fixed & Cloud trends to ensure offerings remain competitive and aligned with industry standards.
• Perform profitability, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), and ROI analysis for enterprise cloud engagements to support strategic pricing decisions.
• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Technology teams to ensure pricing strategies are aligned with business objectives, customer requirements, and go-to-market plans.
• Oversee the complete pricing lifecycle, from strategy development to execution, ensuring the successful launch and continuous optimization of Fixed and Cloud products and services.
• Review and evaluate the commercial and pricing aspects of Tenders, RFPs, RFQs, and BIDs, ensuring compliance with customer requirements and organizational profitability targets.
• Support sales negotiations by providing commercial guidance, pricing approvals, and deal optimization while adhering to aggressive turnaround times.
• Monitor pricing performance, analyze deal profitability, and optimize AI-driven pricing models to improve pricing accuracy, competitiveness, and win rates.

Requirements

What are we Looking for and what does it require to be a Pricing Expert?

Experience and Educational requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT/Computer Science, or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in pricing, with significant exposure to Telco products and Cloud technology solution pricing especially in Telecom industry
• Experience in developing AI-based pricing tools or calculators is desired
• Certification in Pricing strategy or financial analysis is a plus

• Proven strong understanding of digital ecosystems, including GSM/Fixed Business, cloud services and related emerging technologies

• Candidate must have a deep understanding of Fixed, Cloud business communication, business models and related pricing structures (hardware, connectivity), reselling model etc
