Texas A&M’s Department of Statistics is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to develop advanced computational methods and collaborate with life science researchers in the analysis and interpretation of single-cell multi-omic data. This role will contribute to cutting-edge research by integrating statistical and computational approaches to address complex biological questions.
Opportunities to Contribute
Conduct research in the area of statistical modeling for single-cell multi-omic data.
Perform clustering, differential expression analysis, predictive modeling, and trajectory interference to trace cellular processes.
May assist, or mentor graduate students who are working on research related to the project.
Qualifications
Appropriate PhD in a related field.
A well-qualified candidate for this position will also possess:
Working experience with Bayesian analysis and MCMC.
Bayesian Modeling.
MCMC computation.
Bioinformatics.
Clustering.
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate based on the selected candidate's education and experience.
