How You’ll Shine?

As a Porter, you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Assist guests with luggage, including transporting bags to and from rooms safely and efficiently
• Support the Front Office team with guest arrivals, departures, and general concierge-style assistance
• Greeting and registering of owners and guests
• Assist with valet parking processes
• Providing information to local area attractions, completion of all department related paperwork
• Using all communication equipment including telephones, facsimiles and computers

  

What You’ll Bring?

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience within a similar hotel position is highly regarded
• Valid drivers licence
• Ability to safely undertake manual handling tasks in line with Workplace Health & Safety requirements
• Previous experience with a PMS system (Hirum, Fidelio, Opera etc) advantageous
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, public and school holidays
• Genuine passion for customer service and the local area
• Strong interpersonal skills and immaculate presentation/professional grooming standards
