Position Overview:

• Role: Physician for Virtual Patient Care
• Location: Fully Remote
• Schedule: Scheduling is flexible
• Scheduled video visits
• Additional program opportunities are available
• Compensation: Approximately $120/hour
• Important Note:This is a 1099 contractor opportunity, provided that, this classification and rate of pay are subject to change based on the clinicians state of residence, applicable state employment and worker classification regulations, and the clinicians availability and involvement with SteadyMD, to ensure compliance with state-specific labor and wage requirements.

Responsibilities Include:

• Deliver patient care across SteadyMD programs, including but not limited to urgent care, weight management, lab review, remote patient monitoring and primary care. 
• Conduct evaluations via video, phone (both scheduled and on demand), and asynchronous communication with patients of all ages (adults and pediatrics). 
• Serve a diverse patient population while exemplifying inclusivity and evidence-based clinical practices. 
• Maintain a compassionate, patient-centered approach to care delivery. 
• Collaborate with peers and multidisciplinary teams to enhance program performance and patient outcomes. 
• Participate in supervision requirements as applicable for credentialing and licensure. 
• Cooperate with all teams to obtain and maintain SteadyMD and program-specific credentialing requirements, as needed. 

Requirements

• Active Physician (MD/DO) with:
• Minimum of 5 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: GA, TN, IN, MO, SC, MS, AL
• OR Minimum of 10 active state licenses and at least one license in the following states: CA, FL, NY, TX, VA
• Board Certified, Family or Internal Medicine Preferred
• 3 years of independent practice experience as an NP preferred
• Telemedicine or virtual care experience is preferred
• Proficiency with technology platforms for telemedicine delivery
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong professionalism and ability to work autonomously
• Must be able to learn quickly, adapt to quick pace, express empathy
