People Operations Coordinator JAPACJob Description
The People Operations Coordinator is responsible for delivering employee lifecycle administration services for Korea and Malaysia. The role ensures that employee transactions are processed accurately, in a timely manner, and in compliance with local regulations, internal policies, and data privacy requirements. This position contributes to maintaining employee data integrity, supporting compliance activities, and delivering a high-quality employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle.
Job Responsibilities:
Performs People Solutions & Digitization activities and provides transactional and administrative services related to in-scope processes such as personnel and payroll data, benefits administration, including mass transaction updates.
Implements standard master data changes in compliance with data privacy, internal control, and service level requirements, including employee status change, cost center changes, and pay adjustments.
Conducts regular checks on system changes, monitors for discrepancies, identies points of departure, and executes necessary corrections to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
Engages proactively in LEAN process improvement activities, constantly seeking ways to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of People Solutions & Digitization processes and administrative operations.
Handles external and internal requests/audits for information with prompt and accurate responses, supporting the delivery of reports within scope and ensuring all queries are managed professionally and efficiently.
Manages and records document flow, files employee-related documentation, maintains employee files and records, and fulfills various administrative tasks with the ability to prioritize them effectively.
Works in accordance with standard operating procedures, incorporates necessary adjustments based on stakeholder feedback, and proposes practical process improvements. Ensures that enquiries escalated by the Contact Center are answered and transactional activities are completed in a timely, professional, and efficient manner.
Minimum Required Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, statistics, finance, accounting, Korean, or a related field.
Key Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, Payroll or Accounting
Business-level proficiency in Korean & English, with strong reading and writing skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders.
Basic understanding of HR processes, policies, and compliance requirements
Familiar with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
Ability to independently resolve queries using data analysis and system insights
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
