Purpose of the role

To support the delivery of core People Function services and administrative processes across multiple people-related functions. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely execution of HR operations, including employment administration, personnel records management, HR reporting, rewards and benefits administration, compliance activities, employee inquiries, and workflow automation initiatives.

As part of the administrative career stream, the role provides operational and technical support to ensure smooth day-to-day People Function service delivery. The incumbent applies established HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage routine activities while maintaining data accuracy, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
 

Working under general supervision, the People Advisor exercises sound judgment within defined processes and guidelines to resolve routine issues and support employee and business needs. The role requires the ability to handle tasks of moderate complexity, prioritize workload effectively, and collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
 

This role is ideal for HR professionals seeking to build broad HR operational expertise while supporting a high-quality employee experience and efficient HR service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, employee data management, transfers, and offboarding activities.

• Maintain accurate personnel records and HR data within HR systems.

• Support - rewards, benefits, and compliance-related processes.

• Prepare routine HR reports, workforce statistics, and documentation.

• Respond to employee and manager inquiries, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.

• Support workflow improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

• Ensure adherence to company policies, employment regulations, and data privacy requirements.

• Escalate complex or non-routine matters to senior People Function team members when appropriate.

What we are looking for:

• Open to Fresh Graduates with a background in Business Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, IT etc., who are keen to explore HR as a profession

• Possess basic understanding of People Function operations, employment administration, and HR systems.

• Knowledge of standardized work procedures and established HR processes.

• Ability to apply job-related knowledge gained through training and practical experience.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and customer service orientation.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work independently within established guidelines while knowing when to seek support or escalation.
