Payroll Processing & Administration

• Assist in preparing and processing biweekly and monthly payroll runs for Mexico City employees

• Collect and verify employee data changes — new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments

• Cross-check payroll inputs against HR records to ensure accuracy before each run

• Prepare payroll summaries and reconciliation reports for Finance review

Data & Recordkeeping

• Maintain organized payroll records and documentation in compliance with local regulations

• Audit payroll data for discrepancies and escalate issues to the appropriate team member

• Support documentation for tax filings and social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT, ISR)

• Help maintain employee master data in the HRIS and payroll systems

Cross-Functional Support

• Collaborate with HR and Finance to resolve payroll queries from employees

• Assist with month-end payroll close activities and reporting

• Support process improvement initiatives to increase payroll accuracy and efficiency

• Currently enrolled in a university program in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

• Based in Mexico City and available to work on-site

• Full professional proficiency in both English and Spanish — written and spoken

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and basic formulas

• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers and data

• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with discretion

• Prior internship or coursework in payroll, accounting, or HR administration

• Familiarity with Mexican payroll regulations — IMSS, INFONAVIT, ISR

• Experience with HRIS or payroll software (SAP, Workday, ADP, or similar)

• Interest in fintech or financial services
