Job Title: Oracle Fusion PTP Procurement Functional Analyst (Fusion & EBS Techno-Functional)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Procure-to-Pay (PTP) Functional Analyst with Oracle EBS Techno-Functional expertise to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion Procurement and PTP business processes along with hands-on techno-functional experience in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The role requires collaboration with business and IT stakeholders to analyse requirements, design scalable solutions, support integrations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives across Oracle Fusion and legacy EBS environments.

Oracle DevOps Organization is supporting multiple Oracle Fusion Instances within JCI. This role will serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the Procurement value stream, supporting development, enhancement, integration, and production support activities across Oracle Fusion Cloud and related Oracle EBS applications.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Lead the development, support, and enhancement of Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS Procurement and PTP processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve system performance, business process efficiency, and solution reliability.
• Implement DevOps best practices to streamline development, testing, deployment, and support activities.
• Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime.
• Lead requirements gathering sessions, fit-gap workshops, and solution design discussions with business stakeholders.
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion modules including Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Portal, Inventory, Order Management, and Accounts Payable.
• Provide techno-functional support for Oracle EBS Procurement, Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, and Accounts Payable modules where required.
• Analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues involving Oracle Fusion, Oracle EBS, integrations, and data flows.
• Support inbound and outbound integrations using FBDI, REST APIs, SOAP Services, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and legacy EBS interfaces.
• Develop and analyse SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation, reconciliation, and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate data migration, conversion, and interface activities between Oracle EBS and Oracle Fusion applications.
• Review and support EBS customizations, extensions, reports, workflows, interfaces, and conversions (RICEW objects).
• Lead and mentor functional and technical team members within the value stream.
• Conduct system configurations, testing, UAT support, defect management, and end-user training.
• Analyze Oracle Fusion enhancements, change requests, and production support activities.
• Plan and prioritize approved backlogs with BPO/GPO teams and Oracle Solution Architects.
• Perform capacity planning and resource management for enhancement and support activities.
• Coordinate with other value stream leads and integration teams to address cross-functional dependencies and issues.
• Schedule, review, and approve production deployments in collaboration with Global Release Management teams.
• Drive automation and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce support tickets and optimize operational efficiency.
• Follow JCI’s Major Incident Management process to address critical P1/P2 issues.
• Provide KPI reporting and operational metrics to Global and Regional DevOps leadership.

Required Skills: 

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a can-do approach.
• Proven ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a reactive high-pressure environment.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple Fusion instance problems in parallel.
• 6+ years of experience in consulting or industry, including:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion modules, including Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Portal, Inventory, Order Management, and Accounts Payable.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS modules,  including Purchasing, iProcurement, Inventory, Accounts Payable, Supplier Management
• Expertise in Oracle Fusion and EBS Procurement (PTP) and ERP solutions, with a strong background in functional configurations.
• Proven track record in PTP Procurement, particularly in drop shipment process implementations.

• Expertise in Oracle Fusion functional configuration and solutions for small- and large-scale initiatives across the globe.
• Production support experience (at least consecutive 2 year in Cloud applications).
• Ability to write simple SQL-based reports for troubleshooting without technical team assistance.
• Basic understanding of cloud integration (FBDI, REST/SOAP APIs) and proven problem-solving methods.
• Ability to analyse and support:

• Custom reports and extensions
• Proficiency in Office 365 tools (Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Visio, SharePoint).

Preferred Skills: 

• Oracle Cloud certifications. 
• Experience with Agile methodologies. 
• Knowledge of additional Oracle modules. 
• Experience in EDI implementations (e.g., EDI-850, EDI-810, EDI-832, EDI-855).
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Panaya, ServiceNow, and Power BI for project tracking, testing, incident management, and reporting.
