Linklaters is a people business. Being best in class in the eyes of our clients means that our people must be exceptional.

We look not only for brilliant minds, but for people who will thrive in our environment: people who love working collaboratively and demonstrate the innovative, efficient, agile, entrepreneurial, and responsible mind-set we aim to bring to every interaction.

Ours is an environment of outperformance. We achieve this not with targets and incentives, but by fostering a positive, supportive, fair, and open atmosphere.

We respect and value difference but insist on inclusivity. We celebrate all aspects of diversity and challenge any form of bias. This is vital to our ability to work as one team, with a common goal.

The Role:

Shape the workplace experience for one of the world's leading law firms.

As our Operations Senior Manager, Workplace & Employee Experience, you'll play a pivotal role in creating exceptional environments where our people, clients and visitors can thrive. This is far more than a traditional facilities position. You'll sit at the heart of how our workplaces evolve, leading the strategy, design and delivery of employee-facing services across our UK estate.

You'll combine operational excellence with innovation, using workplace data, technology and insights to shape spaces that are engaging, efficient and fit for the future. Working with senior stakeholders across the firm, you'll influence how people experience the workplace every day while driving projects that enhance collaboration, productivity and wellbeing.

Key areas of focus include:

  • Leading the delivery of workplace and employee experience services across our UK offices
  • Driving workplace transformation, design and change initiatives aligned to business needs
  • Overseeing workplace projects, space planning and workplace optimisation
  • Using data, smart building technology and workplace insights to inform strategic decision-making
  • Managing key supplier relationships and contracts to deliver exceptional service and value
  • Owning workplace governance, policies, processes and performance reporting
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives that enhance engagement and service adoption
  • Managing budgets and ensuring efficient investment across workplace experience programmes

This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to make a lasting impact on how thousands of colleagues experience the workplace.

What We're Looking For:

We're looking for an experienced workplace leader who combines strategic thinking with hands-on delivery. You'll be someone who enjoys influencing senior stakeholders, solving complex challenges and creating workplace experiences that truly make a difference.

You'll bring:

  • Significant experience leading workplace, facilities or employee experience functions within a complex organisation
  • A strong track record of delivering workplace transformation, office moves, redesigns or space optimisation projects
  • Experience working across outsourced service models and managing multiple suppliers and contracts
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build credibility at senior levels
  • Strong commercial acumen, including budget ownership and governance oversight
  • Experience using workplace data, reporting and technology to drive decision-making and continuous improvement
  • A passion for creating outstanding employee experiences and service excellence
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams

Ideally, you'll also have experience within a professional services, legal or similarly fast-paced corporate environment.

If you're excited by the opportunity to shape the future workplace, influence business-wide change and deliver exceptional experiences for employees and clients alike, we'd love to hear from you.

What's on offer:

This role is based in London office, with a hybrid working model.

Joining Team Linklaters will see you qualify for a range of benefits designed to reward the vital contribution you'll be making to our success. These include:
