Job Title: Operations Executive - Shopping Malls

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) Operations Executive to oversee and manage the MEP systems in our portfolio of shopping malls. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in MEP engineering and a proven track record in facilities management within large commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and repair of all MEP systems in multiple shopping malls, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation systems.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance and longevity of MEP equipment and systems.
• Manage and coordinate with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits of MEP systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze energy consumption data and implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs and improve sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Prepare and manage budgets for MEP operations, maintenance, and capital improvements.
• Respond to emergency situations and coordinate repairs to minimize disruptions to mall operations.
• Liaise with tenants to address MEP-related concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on the latest MEP technologies and industry best practices, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.
• Train and mentor junior staff members in MEP operations and maintenance procedures.
• Prepare regular reports on MEP system performance, maintenance activities, and improvement projects for senior management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering Minimum 2-5 years of experience in MEP operations, preferably in large commercial properties or shopping malls Professional engineering license or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Facility Manager)
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems, energy management, and sustainability practices Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong leadership and team management abilities Proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
