The Position

Network Lead Molecular Diagnostics

At Roche Diagnostics, we are transforming healthcare by driving strategies that enable a sustainable system with accurate diagnostics across the entire continuum of care. As our Network Lead, you will hold a pivotal, high-impact leadership position: unifying a dynamic cross-functional team to elevate our brand, drive commercial ambitions, and enhance customer engagement across the Dutch healthcare ecosystem.

In this agile leadership role, you will act as the dedicated lead for our cross-functional Network (spanning ~15 colleagues across sales, marketing, service, consultancy, and application) while holding an influential seat on our business governance body, the Acceleration Pulse. Reporting to the Healthcare Transformation Platform Lead, you will lead without authority, using your VACC mindset to empower team members, optimize patient pathways, and turn strategic vision into tangible commercial success. What you will do

• Business Strategy and P&L: Define and execute the network-based vision and account strategies to drive commercial growth and achieve overarching Objective Key Results (OKR), with end-to-end accountability of the P&L of the Molecular Diagnostics Customer Area.

• Drive VACC Leadership: Lead as a Visionary, Architect, Catalyst, and Coach to empower, guide, and rally a cross-functional team of 15–25 specialists through inspiring collaboration, clear role definition, and a high-performance culture. 

• Champion Commercial & Operational Execution: Partner closely with sales on strategic pricing, account-based marketing, and leading must-win commercial opportunities.

• Integrate Digital Innovation: Build a compelling narrative around our digital and diagnostic solutions, integrating innovation directly into customer and patient ambitions.

• Master Stakeholder & Market Engagement: Lead the strategic direction of major industry events, trade shows, and symposia to position Roche as the strategic partner of choice for customer networks.

• Leverage Insights for Sustainable Growth: Utilize market analysis and systems thinking to continuously optimize commercial performance and diagnostic adoption across key accounts.

You are a creative, proactive, and visionary leader who thrives on breaking down silos and navigating complex, matrixed environments. You combine a "One Roche" strategic mindset with systems awareness, the ability to see how interconnected elements impact the broader healthcare landscape. As a coach, you foster a safe environment for continuous experimentation and build strong followership among peers without relying on formal hierarchical lines.

You will also bring:

• Commercial Experience: Over 7 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, business development, or commercial strategy within healthcare (or an equivalent mix of education and experience).

• Strategic Execution: Proven track record of translating high-level strategies into actionable account plans and commercial results.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for improving patient care and collaborating with diverse cross-functional teams.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English is essential; Dutch language skills are highly preferred for engaging effectively with the local healthcare market.
