We are looking for a Quality System Coordinator who is passionate about operational excellence, integrated management systems, and building a strong culture of quality across manufacturing operations.

The Quality System Coordinator will play a critical role in maintaining, improving, and strengthening the Integrated Management System within CPS Operations, including AdeS operations. This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and internationally recognized quality and food safety frameworks. The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of food manufacturing processes, quality systems, risk management, and continuous improvement tools, along with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive sustainable results.

This role requires a highly organized and collaborative professional who can manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively across teams, and lead initiatives that support regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and food safety excellence. The successful candidate will serve as a key subject matter expert for food safety systems, audits, corrective actions, process improvements, and quality-related investigations while helping drive a proactive culture focused on accountability, prevention, and continuous learning.

What You'll Do for Us

• Lead and sustain the Food Safety Management System across CPS Operations, ensuring full compliance with corporate standards, FSSC ISO 22000 requirements, FSMA regulations, NOM standards, and other applicable regulatory and certification requirements.

• Maintain and continuously improve HACCP plans, Food Defense plans, Food Fraud risk assessments, TACCP/VACCP programs, allergen controls, and preventive control processes to support safe and compliant manufacturing operations.

• Serve as the Food Safety Leader and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) for the operation, supporting regulatory readiness, compliance activities, and business continuity requirements for North America.

• Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including GMP audits, certification audits, and customer or regulatory inspections. Monitor audit findings, ensure timely corrective and preventive actions, and validate the effectiveness of implemented solutions.

• Facilitate CAPA, change management, and risk management programs by partnering with production, purchasing, warehouse, laboratory, customer service, operational excellence, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen process reliability and compliance performance.

• Monitor prerequisite programs in alignment with ISO 22000 standards, including pest control, sanitation, chemical control, hygiene design, cross-contamination prevention, allergen management, traceability, and product recall readiness.

• Manage the local documentation process to ensure procedures, records, and controlled documents are properly reviewed, maintained, distributed, and stored in accordance with internal and external requirements.

• Analyze process and quality metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement. Support preventive and corrective action planning using continuous improvement methodologies such as SPC, FMEA/AMEF, root cause analysis, and other quality tools.

• Act as the subject matter expert for bottler quality complaints and inquiries by coordinating investigations, ensuring proper follow-up, and verifying the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions.

• Promote a culture of food safety, quality ownership, accountability, and operational excellence through effective communication, collaboration, coaching, and employee engagement initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, Microbiology, or a related technical discipline.

• 3+ years of experience in food manufacturing, quality systems, food safety, or integrated management systems within a manufacturing environment.

• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality systems, including FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, HACCP, GMP, FSMA, and applicable regulatory requirements.

• Experience supporting or leading food safety programs, audits, corrective action processes, and compliance initiatives within manufacturing operations.

• Knowledge of prerequisite programs such as sanitation, pest control, allergen management, traceability, product recall, chemical control, and contamination prevention.

• Experience conducting internal audits, supporting external audits, and driving corrective and preventive action closure with measurable results.

• Familiarity with risk management and continuous improvement tools including SPC, root cause analysis, CAPA management, FMEA/AMEF, and process trend analysis.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment while maintaining strong attention to detail and a high level of quality and compliance focus.

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills with the ability to identify risks, evaluate complex situations, and implement practical solutions.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across cross-functional teams and communicate effectively with associates at multiple levels of the organization.

• Experience managing documentation systems, quality records, and controlled procedures within a regulated manufacturing environment.

• Intermediate to advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Professional certifications related to food safety, quality management, auditing, HACCP, or PCQI are considered a plus.

• Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments, including participation in plant audits and operational assessments within concentrate manufacturing facilities.

• A proactive mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and fostering a positive quality and food safety culture.
