Job Profile Summary

As an MDM Architect, you will design and implement enterprise Master Data Management solutions to unify master data like customer and product into a single, high-quality source of truth. You’ll lead the technical data governance frameworks, match-and-merge rules, and data quality pipelines to eliminate duplicates and maintain data integrity across the organization. Additionally, you will partner closely with Data and Integration Architects to seamlessly embed master data services into core business workflows and enterprise systems.
 

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Decision Making & Formalization

Create comprehensive end-to-end architectural solutions for data needs within a specific business domain.
Work effectively together with stakeholders (Domain Architects, Solution Architects, ..) to ensure that the proposed solution fits the landscape and that it brings the envisioned capabilities.
Formalize decisions in an approachable and complete manner so implementation teams can follow the standards.
Preferred Experience: Boomi, Integration tools, data lake, Governance framework.

Enterprise Alignment & Monitoring:

Monitor and verify solution compliance with established standards while ensuring comprehensive integration across the IT ecosystem. Validate that all implementations meet both functional and non-functional requirements, maintaining consistency with domain vision and enterprise architecture frameworks throughout the development lifecycle.

Architecture Strategy & Roadmap
Contribute to architectural roadmap development and participate actively in future state planning initiatives. Develop comprehensive understanding of project scope and requirements, analyze current architectural state, and identify optimal target state configurations. Support successful architectural transitions by providing technical guidance and implementation support throughout the solution development lifecycle

Technology Innovation & Trends
Track and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, sharing valuable insights across teams and stakeholders. Stay current with technological advancements and promote relevant innovations to domain teams and fellow Domain Architects. Support product and Digital Foundation teams in maintaining awareness of emerging technologies while ensuring technical integrity and consistency of applications, solutions, and systems throughout their complete lifecycle.

Coaching & Mentorship

• Guides engineers, analysts, and other technical team members within their specific data domain on best practices, design patterns, and technology selection.

• Acts as a technical resource and go-to expert for their domain, fostering knowledge sharing through clear documentation, peer reviews, and informal training sessions.

• Provides constructive feedback on technical implementations to ensure alignment with the approved solution architecture and domain standards.
