The Marketing Manager will execute and oversee marketing efforts for our Valley Region portfolio, including The Americana at Brand, The Commons at Calabasas, Encino Marketplace, The Lakes at Thousand Oaks, The Promenade at Westlake, and Village at Moorpark. This role will have a focus on driving traffic and sales to the properties and their respective tenants through promotions, events, advertising and other initiatives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Create and execute innovative marketing campaigns to attract target audiences, driving traffic and sales for the properties
Manage end-to-end execution of property marketing events in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Set property marketing goals, and assess marketing initiative performance through comprehensive recaps to evaluate effectiveness
Collaborate with tenants and internal teams (Creative, Digital, PR) to effectively promote tenant offerings through diverse marketing channels
Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely promotion of marketing events and tenant offers
Oversee property signage, including 22x28, window graphics and out-of-home advertising
Maintain relationships with local publications for advertising schedules and media collaborations
Support or lead new tenant grand openings across the portfolio
Track tenant participation in events, seasonal campaigns, and shopping periods
Manage marketing budgets, code invoices, and attend property team meeetings
Analyze and aggregate traffic, sales and campaign data to inform and refine property marketing strategies
Compile and deliver end-of-campaign reports and performance recaps to leadership and tenants
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Familiarity with fashion, retail industry, and pop-culture trends
Knowledge of digital, influencer, and social media marketing. Knowledge of the Los Angeles market and trends is a plus
Understanding of print media processes
Strong multi-tasking ability and calm demeanor in high-pressure situations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a strong work ethic
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Minimum of three years of progressive experience in marketing roles, with retail, hospitality or related industry
Strong educational background in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Understanding of and engagement with the greater Los Angeles and Ventura counties, including their key lifestyle destinations and qualified communities, is preferred
