What is Manager Corporate & Economic Affairs?

The team is part of the Corporate & Economic Affairs Department within the Corporate & Regulatory Affairs Division. The team is responsible for advocating organization’s interests with Institutions/ Ministries related to Economics, Finance and Taxation. Economic Affairs also works on developing an effective and credible Corporate & Economic Affairs strategy that identifies and meets the needs of our rapidly evolving business.

The role reports directly to the Head of Corporate Affairs North & HQ.

What Manager Corporate & Economic Affairs does?

·       Taxation Advocacy (Tax Relief, Budget, Import duties, Closure of outstanding issues). Provide support to cross functional teams for achieving Organizational Objectives.

·       Represent the Company with concerned Ministries and Departments

·       Support business with NOCs/approvals from District Administration

·       Build strong internal and external partnerships

·       Collaborate and produce effective business results

·       Strategy for tax advocacy and campaign development

·       Development and execution of engagement plan

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Manager Corporate & Economic Affairs?

·       Bachelors/Masters with 4-7 years’ experience of relevant experience

·       Experience in advocacy, campaign development, public engagement

·       Experience of engaging with internal and external officials and representatives

·       Advocacy of Economic policies

·       Microsoft Office

·       Understanding external communications and interpersonal skills

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills
