Position Summary:
Under the director of the immediate supervisor, the incumbent will be expected to perform the following duties at the Memorial pool.
Primary Responsibilities:
Expected to open and close pool area depending on schedule worked.
Perform setup and take down of equipment depending on upcoming daily events or pool usage.
Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in or around the pool.
Act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
Maintain a clean and organized office, equipment room, and pool area.
Assist with occasional administrative tasks.
***Selected candidates must successfully pass their criminal background check in order to be considered for this position.
Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities
NLS lifeguarding certification required
Standard First Aid C certification required
