What You'll Do

Independently performs systematic assessment of breastfeeding mothers while assisting with her physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs, and needs of the family. Plans and implements appropriate interventions, and evaluates effectiveness and adjusts plan as indicated in a timely manner in the provision of safe and effective care.
 

Requirements

Current certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).
