As an intern in the Wet Process Equipment Development Engineering group at Micron, you will gain hands-on experience in designing, maturing, and optimizing Wet Process equipment for Micron's groundbreaking memory parts. Together, we will tackle ambitious technical problems to further develop innovative equipment to enable the Micron product roadmap.

This position requires that you have a strong curiosity about engineering problem solving and innovation, and the skills to work both independently and in a team environment. We strive to provide an immersive experience into semiconductor wet process hardware development. You will incorporate AI and Agentic AI into your daily tasks to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Having a 'Safety First' approach.
• Presenting and articulating your work.
• Conducting experiments to understand the technical limitations of current equipment capability.
• Developing in-process hardware and analytical techniques.
• Performing statistical data analysis to validate equipment hardware capability.
• Solving sophisticated engineering problems related to Wet Process hardware.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Pursuing a career in semiconductor industry and working towards a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Engineering or a related Science field (Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, etc.)
• Does not graduate prior to September 2027
• Incorporating AI: You will use your AI proficiency, AI‑enabled ways of working or the willingness to learn AI and incorporate it into your daily tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Effective interpersonal skills with customers, collaborators, and managers
• Ability to work with minimal direction and having a focus on meeting commitments.
• An electromechanical or hardware-derived work history/education with an understanding of semiconductor equipment.
• Strong digital literacy with the ability to learn new programs quickly and make guided decisions based on data analysis
