Position Summary
The Integration Advisor plays a critical role in guiding new Focus Partners Wealth offices through the integration and advisor training process, serving as a primary relationship lead and trusted resource throughout onboarding. This role supports the adoption of Focus best practices, operating standards, technology capabilities, and client experience expectations while helping offices navigate day-to-day questions, onsite engagement, and advisor development needs.
The Integration Advisor partners closely with the Managing Director, Onboarding & Integration, Integration Directors, Integration Advisors, Integration Managers, Data Analysts, and Advisory Team Leadership to deliver a coordinated, consistent, and high-quality integration experience for offices joining the Focus Partners Wealth family.
This role will be hybrid with 3 days per week onsite in our St. Louis office.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a functional integration expert and trusted resource for new offices, with subject matter expertise in client experience, technology usage, business development, financial planning, firm/partner buy-in, and succession/hiring.
- Lead advisor training and provide ongoing support for Wealth Advisors and Associate Wealth Advisors at newly integrated Focus offices.
- Act as the primary liaison for advisor-related questions, issues, and support needs with new Focus Partners Wealth regional offices.
- Maintain broad knowledge of Focus resources, tools, teams, and processes, and engage the appropriate subject matter experts when needed.
- Communicate a thorough understanding of the Wealth Advisor and Associate Wealth Advisor roles within Focus.
- Support a superior client experience and contribute to the firm’s client retention objectives.
- Assist with the transition of clients to Centralized Portfolio Management (CPM) and MoneyGuideElite (MGE).
- Travel as needed and participate in client and prospect events throughout the year.
- Provide direction, motivation, and coaching to advisors; encourage growth in assets under management (AUM) and revenue derived from these relationships.
- Share office and advisor feedback with division leaders and partner with the Managing Director, Onboarding & Integration to ensure updated materials are distributed through appropriate channels, including Advisor Development programs and onsite visits.
- Manage and continually update Teamwork templates to track, organize, and assign tasks for each transaction.
- Document activities, business opportunities, and communications in Salesforce and/or Teamwork in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing Focus Advisors and Associate Wealth Advisors.
- Maintain a high level of familiarity with Focus tools, systems, processes, and procedures.
- Perform additional departmental responsibilities assigned by the Managing Director, Onboarding & Integration.
- Stay current on industry trends, publications, and best practices relevant to wealth management and integration.
- Support leadership development by helping others identify opportunities, evaluate alternatives, and pursue objectives that support growth.
- Pursue professional development and innovative solutions that strengthen personal effectiveness and team impact.

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Series 65 license required.
- Seven or more years of experience in investment management, wealth management, accounting, or professional services consulting.
- Five or more years of experience within Focus Partners Wealth or a comparable wealth management organization.
- Deep knowledge of wealth management and financial planning concepts, practices, and client service expectations.
- Experience using client relationship management systems and project management tools, including CRM platforms and Teamwork.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, and Adobe tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or CFA designation helpful; CFP or CPA/PFS designation preferred.
- Direct management of a book of business preferred.
- Demonstrated success in consultative coaching, advisor development, or relationship management.
- Ability to facilitate strategic planning sessions effectively, both in person and through virtual technology.

This position is an exempt position. The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $100,000-$115,000. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, subject matter expertise, geographic location where work will be performed, and the applicant's skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus and a comprehensive benefits package
