Summary of the Role
This role will mainly provide operational and administrative support to the HR Services function based in the Malaysia entity.
The purpose of the role includes:
(1) Managing centralized payroll processing for multiple entities in APAC region
(2) Provide administrative support (P-filing, statutory submissions, engagement events, etc) to regional HR services operations
(3) Ensure full compliance to internal and external regulations and requirements
Key Functions / Responsibilities
1. HR Services and Administration
Ensure smooth and accurate payroll processing for multiple entities in APAC region
Ensure proper document management for employee personnel files
Implement consistent practice of HR document retention and retrieval to ensure compliance with local regulations and practices
Provide on-the-ground support to HR activities, such as Onboarding, Offboarding, Trainings, and other engagement events from time to time.
Support internal and external audits and maintain proper documentation for statutory compliance.
2. Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager
Education & Experience
General Degree/diploma relevant qualification
Preferably 3-5 years of working experiences in HR Generalist role
HR Shared Services background is a bonus
Conversant in speaking and writing in English
Background in handling payroll or HR operations for multiple countries/regions
Knowledge and experience in local labour regulations and statutory requirements
